07. Jump Around – House of Pain (1992)
That ubiquitous, whistling element of “Jump Around” is one of those musical elements that will endure until the end of time. Throw in some hilarious lryics that ooze Ireland, steroetypes, and pop-culture and you have one of the most distinct tracks ever. The white boys of House of Pain never really followed up mainstream success past this single, but like Warren G and “Regulate,” they at least achieved a lasting notoriety of which most artists could only dream.
