John Kasich, congressman extraordinaire from Ohio, who was responsible for much of the balanced budget legislation, who was considered a vice-presidential candidate by Governor Bush of Texas, recently sauntered into a bar to discover a punk rock icon already there. Johnny Rotten, front man of the famed Sex Pistols, was busy having pictures taken with people he didn’t know or care about when Kasich took a seat next to him. The two began to chat and by the time they were through, Rotten said he would vote for Kasich if he were running for president. How is that for an odd endorsement?
